Princess Street Mosque exists to primarily serve the needs of the local Muslim community, providing Services and facilities catering from the “Cradle to the Grave”. 

We provide the following range of services to the local community; please contact the Masjid for an appointment or for further details:

 

Nikah (Marriage Ceremonies)

Contact Princess Street Mosque to book an appointment and arrange the date and time for nikah. Proof of identity in the form of an original passport must be produced for examination. We will retain a copy for our records.

 

Islam Embracing Service / Shahadah 

Princess Street Mosque provides this conversion (Reversion) service and it is usually carried out by an Imam who speaks with individuals before assisting them in the Arabic transliteration of the Shahādah, which they then follow with the English translation.

 

Marriage/Family Counselling

Our scholars at Princess Street Mosque are able and willing to provide Marriage counselling to couples requiring this Service.

 

Birth/Death Assistance

Our scholars at Jamia Masjid Hanfia Ghausia Trust are able and willing to provide details of all Islamic rituals and rites associated with Birth/Death please contact us for further details and information.

 

Bereavement Counselling

Our scholars at Jamia Masjid Hanfia Ghausia Trust are able and willing to provide bereavement counselling to anyone requiring this Service, special requests for DUA’s are always welcome.

 

Ramadhan Services

Community Iftaar, Taraweeh, and Duas are performed daily during Ramadhan. All brothers are requested to come and open their fast in the Masjid to foster and strengthen the bond of brotherhood.
